Software Engineer - Automotive Embedded
Location: Kraków HQ
Start date: asap


  • Reviewing internal & external requirements (e.g.: models) as well legal regulations for electrical design of the product

  • Programing of embedded systems

  • Source code of the software changes tracking

  • Maintains SW building blocks and libraries

  • Writes engineering documentation (HLD, LLD, Code Reviews, Test Descriptions, Bench Test Reports)

  • Collecting and tracking requirements changes

  • Implements SW improvements

  • Creates Code according to HLD, LLD, Automotive SPICE

  • Participates in Code Reviews

  • Supports for DFMEA content in SW area

  • Supports SW benchmarks and matrixes

  • Requests tests

  • Reviews test reports

  • Analyzes failed tests and proposes changes

  • Understands tests specifications

  • Support Validation group

  • Propagates lessons learned

  • Utilizes and proposes improvements to analytical tools


  • Matlab/Simulink, C Embedded

  • Experience in real time operating systems RTOS (i.e. uCOS, FreeRTOS)

  • Basic knowledge in electronics i.e. (I2C, SPI, CAN, Flexray)

  • Experience in: MISRA C, DOORS, VECTOR tools

  • Doxygen documentation knowledge

  • Experience in Automotive standards (Automotive SPICE, CMMI, ISO26262, ASIL )

  • Knowledge of AUTOSAR and RTOS with POSIX API

  • Good knowledge in AGILE/SCRUM and GIT workflow

  • Nice to have experience in: Jenkins, Redmine, C++, ADTF, Python, Makefile,

  • Minimum BE or M.Sc. in computer science, automatics or similar

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in similar work position

  • Knowledge of building microcontrollers and embedded systems

  • Communication and teamwork skills

  • Good English knowledge, German or French will be a plus
